Choose where your calls ring

Decide what happens the moment someone rings your RingOne number.

  1. Open your Dashboard and find When someone calls (or Quick actions → Where calls ring).
  2. Pick a mode: Ring me, then AI (rings your mobile first, AI catches what you miss), Straight to AI, or Just ring me.
  3. On a busy day, flip the “On a job” switch to send everything to your AI instantly — flip it back when you’re free.
Set up a Smart call menu

Let your AI put callers through to the right person by voice — no keypad.

  1. Dashboard → Call menu → choose Smart.
  2. Your AI greets the caller, asks what they need, and routes them by voice.
  3. Add each destination (a team member’s UK number, or your AI itself) and save. It’s live on the next call.
Set up a Classic (press-1) call menu

The familiar keypad menu — route one number to your whole team.

  1. Dashboard → Call menu → choose Classic.
  2. Add your options — e.g. “Press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts”.
  3. Give each digit a destination (a UK number or your AI) and save. The recorded menu plays on the next call.
Set your opening hours

Control what happens in-hours vs out-of-hours automatically.

  1. Dashboard → Opening hours.
  2. Set your days and times.
  3. Out of hours, calls go to your AI (or voicemail) automatically — no switch to remember.
Set up voicemail

Turn missed calls into messages you’ll actually get.

  1. Dashboard → Voicemail.
  2. Edit your greeting, or switch on “Let the AI take messages” so callers get a real conversation instead of a beep.
  3. Every message is emailed to you as text and audio.
Listen to recordings & read transcripts

Hear any call back and read exactly what was said.

  1. Dashboard → Recordings.
  2. Open any call to play the audio and read the transcript — AI conversations included.
  3. Recordings are kept 30 days then auto-deleted. Toggle recording or voicemail transcription on/off here.

  1. In your phone setup, turn on Screen spam & robocalls.

  1. Quickest way: divert your existing number to your RingOne number — about two minutes with your current provider.

How does the free trial work?
7 days free — card at signup, £0 today, first payment on day 8. It includes £5 of fair-use credit (about 10 minutes of calls at 50p/min). If you use it up early, your AI pauses but calls still ring your own phone. Cancel any time before day 8 via Manage billing and you pay nothing.
Can I keep my existing business number?
Yes. The quickest way is diverting your existing number to your RingOne number — takes two minutes with your current provider. Want to port your number in fully? Email us and we'll handle it.
What happens when someone calls me?
You choose: calls ring your mobile first and your AI catches what you miss (most popular), everything goes straight to your AI, or calls just ring your phone. Change it any time from the dashboard — even mid-day with the "On a job" switch.
What does the AI actually do on a call?
It answers as your business, takes the caller's name and number, answers questions from what you taught it, drafts quotes from your price list, takes booking requests and messages — then texts/emails you the lead with a transcript and recording in your dashboard.
Do quotes go out without my say-so?
Never. The AI drafts the quote; it sits in Approvals until you tap approve — then the customer gets it by SMS with an accept link. You stay in control of every price.
How do I change what my AI says?
Dashboard → AI receptionist, or just type it into Ask RingOne: "change my greeting to…", "we now charge £250 for X", "open Saturdays from 10". It's live on the very next call.
How does billing and upgrading work?
Everything runs through Stripe. Upgrades are pro-rated — mid-month you only pay the difference, charged to your card when you confirm. Manage billing in your dashboard handles card changes, invoices and cancelling.
What are AI minutes and what if I run out?
Your plan includes 125, 500 or 1,000 AI-answered minutes each month. Go over and extra minutes come from your credit balance at 45p/42p/40p — you're never cut off mid-call. Regularly running over? A bigger plan is cheaper.
Can callers tell it's an AI?
It's natural, British, and introduces itself as your business. It doesn't pretend to be human if asked, and it handles interruptions and normal conversation comfortably. Ring our demo — 020 4652 4549 — and judge for yourself.
How do I cancel?
Dashboard → Plan & billing → Manage billing → cancel. On a monthly plan there are no exit fees; your service runs to the end of the period you've paid for. During the trial, cancelling means you pay nothing at all.
